Pricing and Quotes

AMPM Auto Transport rates are based on your route, vehicle size, vehicle condition, type of transport, pickup and delivery locations and current carrier availability. A running standard vehicle is usually easier to move than a big, modified or non-running vehicle. We recommend that you request a quote with your vehicle & route information for the most accurate pricing.
The price to ship a car is not one set price. It can change based on distance, route demand, vehicle type, open or enclosed transport, pickup timing, and whether the vehicle runs. Longer routes, tougher pickup areas, larger vehicles, or non-running cars could impact the final quote.

It depends on the distance and your situation. Driving may seem cheaper at first, but fuel, hotels, meals, time off, return travel, and added mileage can increase the real cost. Shipping makes more sense for long trips, tight schedules, or avoiding extra wear on the vehicle.

Insurance and Vehicle Protection

Yes, we do cover your vehicle with full insurance coverage whilst it is in our keeping.

No. Our insurance policy applies only to your vehicle. This means the driver shall not be responsible for any damage to personal items kept in the vehicle.
At pickup and delivery, the driver checks all vehicles. Any visual damage is noted on the Bill of Lading / Vehicle Condition Report. If any new damage is reported during the delivery process, the vehicle will be sent in for repairs.
We can try our very best to have a guaranteed pickup and delivery date. Due to weather and traffic conditions, delivery dates are always subject to change. However, if you need your vehicle delivered by a certain date, we will do our best to arrange a pickup date that will guarantee delivery by that date, no matter what.

Expedited car shipping prioritizes faster vehicle pickup. It offers the fastest and most efficient way to move your vehicle.

Your vehicle is picked up and delivered as close to your chosen addresses as safely and legally possible.

Open car transport ships your vehicle on an open trailer and is the most common, cost-effective option. Enclosed car transport uses a covered trailer to provide extra protection from weather and road debris, making it a popular choice for luxury, classic, and exotic vehicles.

A carrier transports the vehicle, while a broker connects customers with carriers and coordinates the shipment.

Other Common Questions

Before shipping, remove personal items, toll tags, and loose accessories from the vehicle. Make sure the car is clean enough for inspection, check for existing damage, and keep the keys ready for the driver. If the vehicle has any mechanical issues, low clearance, or special instructions, mention them before pickup.
Yes, you can ship an inoperable car. Let AMPM Auto Transport know when you book so the driver can be informed and the correct loading setup can be arranged. Please note that shipping a non-running vehicle may affect the final cost.

Top load means the vehicle is loaded on the top deck of an open auto transport trailer. Some customers want this because the vehicle sits higher off of the road surface. It could reduce exposure to road debris or fluids from overloaded vehicles above.

 

You may cancel any order within 24 hours of your reservation. If you do, you will get a full refund. If the order is canceled outside of those parameters, the deposit paid is lost.
