Local transport beyond Anchorage and Fairbanks ports is not provided. Shipping is available only by Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) and container shipping. We do not ship motorcycles, auction vehicles, hybrid or plug-in hybrid cars, or inoperable vehicles on this route.
Alaska car shipping is available by both Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) and container shipping, with container shipping used most often. The mainland port for Alaska shipments is Tacoma, Washington. Service is available only to and from Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska; we do not provide vehicle transport to or from other Alaska cities.
Vehicles are moved by ocean vessel between Tacoma and Anchorage. Fairbanks shipments also require ground transport between Anchorage and Fairbanks. Shipping options may vary based on the vehicle type, size, condition, and current carrier requirements. Transit times can also depend on sailing schedules and port availability. Port procedures and vehicle preparation requirements may differ from standard mainland auto transport.
Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) shipping is available for operable vehicles moving between Tacoma, WA and Alaska.
